FORUM FOR Senior Resource Tax Practitioners
May 3 - 5, 2026 Lake Louise, ABThe 17th biennial Senior Resource Tax Practitioners’ Institute is a meeting for a limited number of senior practitioners to meet and discuss technical resource tax issues. While there are various conferences across Canada which deal with some of the resource tax issues, these programs do not allow for in-depth discussion amongst participants who have a common high level of professional knowledge and experience. In addition, it is our view that an exchange between mining and oil and gas tax specialists who are dealing essentially with the same provisions of the Income Tax Act, but who do not have the forum for an exchange of ideas, will be of substantial benefit to them.
