The Steering Committee welcomes 48 senior lawyers, trustees, private bankers and CPAs, who advise HNW & UHNW American families on estates, trusts and tax law.

Using candid, seminar-style discussions at this annual meeting, the group examines trends and developments in every jurisdiction across a multitude of disciplines. Participants are able to engage in meaningful dialogue about the most pressing issues facing their clients and build valuable networks of like-minded peers.

Jeffay Chang is the Northeast Regional Fiduciary Manager, overseeing trust and estate administration services for clients across the region. He brings over two decades of experience in fiduciary advisory and trust services, providing deep expertise and strategic guidance to individuals and families with complex estate planning needs.

Prior to joining our firm, Jeffay was a Senior Trust, Estate and Fiduciary Strategist at Capital Group Private Client Services. He also served as Senior Vice President and National Team Lead Trust Advisor at City National Bank for six years. Earlier in his career, he was Executive Vice President and Trust Strategist at The Goldman Sachs Trust Company for 12 years, and held advisory roles at UBS Financial Services and United States Trust Company of New York.

Jeffay earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Brandeis University. He is a current member of the NYC Bar Association estate and gift taxation committee, a current member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and a former board member of the Estate Planning Council of New York.

An active member of his community, Jeffay serves as vice chair of the board of The Picture House and has previously served on the boards of the Pelham Art Center and the Chinese Language School of Connecticut, where he was board chair.
