This Forum is an annual meeting for a select international group of 44 preeminent legal advisors, trustees, private client bankers and CPAs, who advise HNW & UHNW international families on issues relating to succession, cross border estates, trusts and tax law, to explore common concerns, exchange ideas, and strategies to resolve challenges faced by clients. All those invited have over 25 years of relevant experience.
Using candid, seminar-style discussion, the group identifies trends and developments in their varied jurisdictions for meaningful dialogue on the most interesting and provocative issues of the day.

Nuno Cunha Barnabé is a graduate of the law faculty of the University of Lisbon (1996), where he lectured in tax, public finances and economics laws (1996-1999). He was a senior tax consultant at former Arthur Andersen Portugal (1996-2000). He is a founding judge of the Portuguese tax arbitration court (2011). Before joining ABREU (2019) he was the head tax practice at PLMJ and coordinator of the firm’s Private Clients’ (2000-2019). Nuno is currently a senior partner at ABREU, where he co-heads the firm’s tax practice being responsible for Private Clients. He has over 20 years of experience in tax law and specializes on wealth taxation advising HNWI’s individuals, family offices, private banking and asset manager businesses in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries. Nuno is a member of the STEP – Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Central London branch, 2017) and of TIAETL – The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law (2017). He is recognized by Chambers Europe, Legal 500, Who’s Who and Best Lawyers Directories as Tier 1/leading lawyer in Tax and Private Clients.

Kristina is a graduate of the University of Toronto and is accredited as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a globally recognized badge of excellence in the meeting and event industry. Prior to joining Cambridge Forums, Kristina worked for the Toronto International Film Festival where she successfully planned and hosted events for high-level donors, corporate clients and film stars. Outside the office, Kristina is passionate about learning new things, being outdoors, trying new cuisines and exploring the world one country at a time.
