The Steering Committee welcomes a select group of up to 48 thought leaders, including in-house and outside counsel, consultants, and representatives from the finance community, to discuss the rapidly expanding demands on corporations to meet the ESG expectations of stakeholders, investors, and regulators.
Using candid, seminar-style discussion, the group engages in meaningful dialogue about their shared experiences, and collaboratively examine legal innovation and market developments.

Committee Co-Chairs
Paul Davies is a partner in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Environment, Land & Resources Department. Mr. Davies is Co-Chair of the firm’s ESG Taskforce and a member of Latham & Watkins’ Sustainability Committee. His practice focuses on advising on the environmental and ESG aspects of corporate transactions in the UK and overseas, in addition to a wide variety of other work, including the provision of ESG advice more generally, the management of contaminated land, the insurance of environmental risk, liaising with regulatory authorities, and climate change, health and safety, asbestos, and waste management issues. Mr. Davies is a member of the Board of Directors of Environmental Law Institute (ELI). He is “internationally regarded” for his “outstanding” work, which has “played a pivotal role in the industry” – Who’s Who Legal 2016, Environment. Further, he was named among Europe’s Top 10 Innovative Individuals for being “at the forefront for environmental law in Europe and Asia” and actively collaborating with environmental consultancies to “promote knowledge sharing” and to develop innovative products – FT Innovative Lawyers Report 2019.
Committee Members
Katherine is the Head of Sustainability Legal, Governance and Reporting for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). A lawyer by background, she is responsible for MAM’s Sustainability reporting strategy, enhancing corporate governance processes to better manage ESG and greenwashing risks, and advising on a broad range of sustainability-related legal and regulatory matters impacting MAM’s global business, including ESG investment products, ESG-related litigation and shareholder activism, greenwashing, and sustainable finance regulatory change.
Forum Director
Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Queen’s University. Before joining Cambridge Forums, Emily spent ten years working as an event manager; from leading full-scope event production of gala fundraisers in Toronto, to travelling the world as a destination wedding planner, managing each event from concept to onsite execution.
Armed with deep expertise in relationship management and event logistics, Emily looks to deliver standout participant experiences as a Forum Director.
Outside of the office, Emily can be found scouring Spotify for new music, hosting dinner parties for her friends and family, and perfecting her golf swing.
